Today, the world we live in is significantly smaller than that of yesterday. Technology has made it possible to bridge global communities through digital platforms and the increase of communication has led to the hybridization of industries. One entrepreneur and forward-thinking connector has made use of this social evolution to bring together some of the world’s top leaders and thinkers through the common link of art. Visionary Rachel Rekkab, founder of Artem Holdings, conceived the 4-day conference UNFOLD Art XChange as a type of creative ‘think tank’ to exchange ideas, information and strategies about the future of how we experience and shape the art scene.
Indeed, Rachel doesn’t hail from a traditional art background, yet her mix of experience in events, exhibitions, and real estate inspired her to develop a common platform where
multiple industries could converge under the unifying theme of artistic exchange. Knowing that it is nearly impossible to pin down just a handful of experts in any field to meet on a single day, it is even more of a testament to the professionalism and determination of Rachel that this international conference included over 150 of the most important global
players in the art, hospitality, design, architecture and finance environment as well as private and public museums and corporate collectors.
