Art Talks

UNFOLD will host fascinating discussions with art experts, collectors, developers, and hospitality professionals, as well as one-to-one conversations with artists and museum specialists, focused on a number of crucial topics related to the industry. 

Art Talks will take place over the course of four days from the 24th-27th of January 2018, and will explore the potential of artistic collaborations to architectural excellence and corporate identity management worldwide, along with the increasing relevance of art scenes across the BRICS region to private museums and institutional collections worldwide.

Art Talks I: Art, Real Estate and the Built Environment

24th and 25th of January 2018, 09.00-13.00 (Vernissage Days)

There is an increasing importance of integrating art with architecture to meet the evolving needs of contemporary society and shape today’s real Estate and built environment.

Art, Real Estate and the Built Environment will delve into the myriad possibilities for utilizing art to enrich the urban environment, while maximizing property value, and providing both a unique identity and greater visibility to architectural excellence in the built environment. There will also be insights given into hotel real estate developments and how hospitality art can attract and retain luxury travelers, and help hotels and resorts stand out in today’s competitive market.

Through a series of panel discussions, Art Talks I will provide a one-stop platform for government and tourism authorities, real estate developers, hoteliers, spatial designers, and artists to discuss and deliberate how art can enhance your ROI.

Art Talks II: Evolving Cultures, Developing Collections

26th and 27th of January 2018, 09.00-13.00

There is a growing appeal, among private collectors, corporations, and luxury brands, to establish critical and important art collections, and often, to showcase these collections through private institutions and museums. Many international corporations see the development of a collection as adding to the value of their corporate identity. Many such organizations are taking a more active role in the art market, and implementing new approaches to supporting the arts and financing their collection development.

Evolving Cultures, Developing Collections provides art patrons, such as corporate collectors, luxury brands, private museums and art institutions with a perfect platform to innovatively collaborate with key stakeholders in the emerging art scene. The aim of Art talks II, is to engage in discussions through a series of keynotes, think tanks and debates on how to promote modern and contemporary art in the international art space and to discuss the agenda of corporates and luxury brands in arts engagement to improve the corporate culture.
